7 WONDERS of the WORLD


The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is a widely-known list of seven remarkable constructions of ancient times. The seven wonders of the world are the imaginations of travelers and the interest of the same historians. Built at various times, different places, the seven wonders of the world are the materialization of a dream, some great skills and a lot of work, each being a leader is working. Several monuments were built to their own boss, and this in ras-end magnificient with the result for a new list of seven wonders of the world, but theseven ancient wonders of the world continue to enchant the world.
Statue of Christ the Redeemer
Christ the Redeemer, is a statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The statue stands 130 feet tall and weighs 700 tons. It is located at the peak of the Corcovado Mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park. It is the symbol of Christianity and the statue has become an icon of Rio and Brazil.

Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal is a catacomb located in Agra, India, that was built under Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the fond memory of his favorite wife,Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal is well thought-out as the finest example of Mughal architecture that combines elements from Persian, Turkish, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles.Taj Mahal, a mausoleum built on the bank over the south of the Yamuna River, outside Agra in India.
It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan of Mughal in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal whose real name was beagum of banu of Arjumand. She died in child birth in Bhuranpur in 1631 AD They were married in 1612 AD that the building was designed to be built in 1632 AD It was built by a group of men from India, Persia, Asia Central and there. The approximately 20,000 workers were employed daily to complete the complex at the expense of 40,000,000 rupees.

Petra in Jordan

Petra is an archaeological site in southwestern Jordan, lying on the slope of Mount Ho. It is famous for having many stone structures carved into the rock. Petra Jordan was famously described as “A ROSE-RED CITY HALE AS OLD AS TIME”

Colosseum of Rome

The Colosseum, is an cryptic amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, the biggest ever built in the Roman Empire. It is one of the maximum works of Roman architecture and engineering. If this wonder were remaining, this would have been one of the tallest artifacts in the world and also one the tallest among the seven wonders of the world.

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is a pre-Columbian Inca city located at 7,970 ft elevation on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley. It is often referred to as “The Lost City of the Incas”.
The ruins of Machu Picchu, red covered in 1911 by archaeologist Hiram Bingham of Yale, is one of the most beautiful ancient sites and most enigmatic in the world. While those using the INCA certainly above the Andean mountains (9060 feet), installing hundreds of structures out of stone in early 1400 ‘s, legends and myths indicate that Machu Picchu (old peak of significance in the Quechua language) venerated as the place crowned by a much earlier time.
The Great Wall of China
The Great Wall is the world’s longest human-made structure, stretching over approximately 6,400 km. It is a series of stone and earthen ramparts in China, built, rebuilt and preserved between the 5th century BC and the 16th century to protect the northern borders of the Chinese Empire during the rule of consecutive dynasties.
After the construction of the Great Wall of the Qin empire was the first empire to protect the Great Wall which is now the Scandinavian and Eastern China. The wall was built there as a defense against hostile attacks tribals from Central Asia. Qin warriors used to walk on walls because the safety and the warriors of the Great Wall attacked the enemy and this was mainly due to the expansion of their empire. The Great Wall is still now the longest man made structure on earth. It was built before 2200 years with approximately 3.00.000 slaves. Over 90% of the slaves who built the Great Wall have been brought from Macao peninsula tiny porcelain in the south-east and was a Portuguese colony now. It was still returned to china in 1999.
Mayan Ruins Chichen Itza
Mayan Ruins Chichen Itza is a large pre-Columbian archaeological site built by the Maya civilization in Mexico. The site exhibits a huge amount of architectural styles, from what is called “Mexicanized” and evocative of styles seen in central Mexico to the Puuc style found among the Puuc Maya lowlands.
